Taking care of the skin from an early age is important if you want to embrace anti aging. Even if you are now in your 40’s, 50’s or even 60’s, it is never too late to give some love and attention to your complexion.
Many people can’t afford to spend hard earned money on skin care products or anti aging skin care treatments. For that reason I’m going to give you a few tips that will help you take care of your skin from home:
1- If in the mornings you wake up with your face full of wrinkles it can be due to sleeping positions. Try to sleep on your back. Place surgical tape in the areas that are more prone to get wrinkles (e.g. frown lines).
2- Smoking is really bad for the skin. It causes the skin to dry up and look older than it really is. Decide to give up smoking not only for your skin but more important, for your health. If you smoke ,eat plenty of foods rich in vitamin C and take vitamin C supplements.
3- Remember to exfoliate your skin at least once a week. Critical for progress towards anti aging. You can elaborate a cheap scrub by mixing sugar with few drops of olive oil. Rub gently over the skin and rinse with warm water.
4- If you have sagging skin try this mask- Mix one spoon of cocoa powder with another spoon of honey. Add a few drops of milk and mix well. Apply over the face and leave on for 20 minutes. Rinse off with warm water. Use at least twice a week but three is even better.
5- One of the best weapons against facial sgging and wrinkles I have found is facial exercises. Get into the habit of practicing facial exercises and your skin will look more toned and less tired.
To younthgful skin!
